Relocating to Middle Tennessee?
Find the lifestyle. Then find the home.
Moving somewhere you don’t know yet is exciting and unsettling in the same breath. You’re trying to picture daily life in a place you may have never visited, and from a listing site, every town on the map looks about the same.
Underneath all of it is a simpler question: what if it doesn’t feel like home once we get there?
That is the question I work on first. Franklin is not Brentwood, and neither one is Nolensville or Leiper’s Fork. So before we look at a single house, we talk about how you want to live. That conversation points us to the right community, and the right home follows.

Start with how you want to live
Most home searches start with bedrooms and a budget. Mine start with different questions. What does a good Saturday look like for you? How long a drive are you willing to make, and to where? Do you want neighbors close by, or room to spread out?
Your answers narrow a whole region down to one or two communities, and that is where we look. I think of myself as a matchmaker of lifestyles to homes.
Find your Middle Tennessee.
Middle Tennessee is a collection of communities, each with its own pace. Here is a starting point.
• Walk to dinner and Main Street. Downtown Franklin, Westhaven, Berry Farms.
• Larger lots, close to Nashville. Brentwood.
• Newer homes and neighborhood amenities. Nolensville, Spring Hill, Thompson’s Station.
• Land, quiet and open views. Leiper’s Fork, College Grove.
• City energy. Nashville’s neighborhoods.
Not sure which one is you? Most people aren’t at first. That is what the first conversation is for.
How a move with me works
STEP 1 - Get oriented
We start with a private consultation by phone, Zoom, or in person. I’ll ask about your timeline, your must-haves, and how you want your days to go. Then I’ll walk you through how the communities here differ and recommend the one or two that fit.
STEP 2 - Find the home
When you can visit, we drive the areas we’ve chosen so you can feel the difference between them, then tour homes. When you can’t, I walk through homes for you on video and tell you what the camera doesn’t show. Either way, you get an update from me every Monday, so you always know where things stand.
STEP 3 - Get to closing
Once you’re under contract, you receive a checklist of every date and task ahead. I introduce you to the inspectors, title team and other local professionals you’ll need, and I manage the details through closing, including when you can’t be here in person.
STEP 4 - Settle in
My work doesn’t end at the closing table. I’ll point you to the local resources you need as you settle in, and I stay in touch long after the boxes are unpacked.

Yes, and a number of my clients have. I tour homes for you on video, send photos of the things listings leave out, and give you my honest read on the street and the neighborhood.
-
With a conversation. Most people who call me can’t yet tell one community from another, and sorting that out together is the first thing we do.
-
No. The first conversation is how we both decide whether we’re a good fit. A buyer representation agreement is required before I can show you homes, and we don’t sign one until you’re ready.
-
Yes. I represent buyers in both new construction and existing homes, and if you’d rather build, I’ll connect you with a builder who fits what you want to create.
-
Yes. Whether you want land to build on, acreage for privacy, or property to hold as an investment, I’ll help you explore what’s available across Middle Tennessee. I’ll also walk you through what to look into before you decide, such as zoning, utilities, soil testing, septic requirements, and property restrictions, and connect you with the professionals who can answer the technical questions.
